How many of you out there have a moderate interest in the paranormal? Do you watch paranormal shows on television? Do you go to haunted locations in hopes of experiencing a ghost? Do you hang out in graveyards for the thrill? Have you ever gone on a paranormal investigation? Do you wish you had a ghost in your home? If you answered yes to these questions, you could be putting yourself at serious risk. How you ask?
In our traditional cultures, these things were taboo, for fear of bringing this kind of energy to you, and that hasn’t changed. In the “modern” society people have lost their fear of the paranormal. How many of you have talismans in your home to ward off evil spirits, bad energy, demons, etc. I would wager very few. Now, do you wonder why there is so much supposed haunting activity in the world today? Most people who have a ghost in their home believe it to be a “Casper”, a friendly ghost. This is WRONG! Spiritual activity is about energies, some are benign, some or not; but all spiritual energy attracts, repels, gathers, and/or emits. This means that the “Casper” in someone’s home may be acting benignly, but could be taking their energy from them or transferring energy to them without their even knowing. Not to mention spiritual energy has a way of attracting other spiritual energies, both good and bad. Our mythologies are full of this kind of thing. Do you think spirits/ghosts change because people change? No.
Paranormal Investigators are a “dime a dozen” out there, most with less than 5 years’ experience. These people have no protection, oh some of them pray for protection before entering an investigation, but we all know that gods and spirits can be finicky at best. A prayer may not always provide what the person praying is intending, and religious symbols such as crosses, are mostly ceremonial and not talismans of protection, a talisman has no strength just because it hold the image of something, it must be brought through a ritual of protection to empower it for THAT task. How many investigators do that?
There is a very old saying, “with thought comes energy”, this means that when you focus your attention on a thought, you give it energy; and remember energy attracts energy - just like in the old saying, “be careful what you wish for”. Those who put too much thought and energy in the questions I presented at the beginning of this article can be putting themselves at risk to the negative effects of such things – if they do not have the proper protection about them. Negative effects of such encounters with spiritual energy could result in such conditions as soul loss, spirit illness, or possession.
My advice to those of you out there with such risky interests - be warned… these ills could happen to you!
